Join the Bakersfield College Choir for the first annual "Turkey Trot—Red & White Run" on November 15 at Bakersfield College. The day will include something for everyone! You can choose to run our 1-mile Fun Run, the 5K or the 10K. Medals will be given to the 1st male and female in the 5K and 10K. Additional awards and prizes will be given in categories such as: 

 

-Oldest runner

-Youngest runner

-Best red & white outfit

-and more!

 

We invite you to wear your most creative red & white attire as you run! T-shirts will be given to those that register by the deadline. Those that register after the deadline can still run, but they will not be given a t-shirt—so register now! The t-shirt will be one you want to wear! Registration will also be available on the day of the race starting at 8:00 am. The races will begin at 9:00 am. 

 

In addition to the race there will be a DJ playing music, free water, a bake sale, and more. Bring your family, friends, and co-workers and come and walk or run!  The proceeds of the race will help the Bakersfield College Choir members fundraise to sing in Carnegie Hall, New York on June 14, 2026. They will premiere a brand-new work called "The Splendid Torch". We really appreciate your support!
