Bronson NICU will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Our sweet boy, Coleman, spent 25 days in the NICU at Bronson after being born at Borgess at 37 weeks. Being born during a global pandemic was one thing, but spending so much time in the NICU with limited visitng hours added a lot of extra stress on us. Our NICU story isn't the typical one, but, from becoming NICU parents, we've quickly learned that each baby/story is incredibly unique. 

The care that Coleman recieved and the extra care we recieved as new parents was more than we could have ever hoped for. The NICU cameras that allowed us to check in on our boy while we had to leave gave a sense of ease on these parents', grandparents', aunts' and uncles' hearts. We cannot thank the team of doctors, specialists, music therapists, occupational therapists, residents, patient care associates, lacation consultants, respiratory therapists and especially the nurses enough. They loved on our boy when we weren't able to be there and advocated for him in a way we were still learning. It has been contiually said that it takes a village to raise a child. We are lucky enough to have a village of family, friends, and medical staff to help us take the best care of our little boy. 

Nobody wishes to become a NICU child/parent, but the bond, fellowship and relationships that come with it are so special. If you can find it in your heart (and wallet) to donate or share our fundraiser to help raise money for a hospital that is so close to our hearts please do so. Please help us to aid Bronson in continuing the research and funding of medical technology/equipment/procedures that keep our littlest blessings alive and thriving.
