Right before the 2019-2020 school year Dylan had an episode that would lead us to a 10 day stay in The Children's Hospital. Dylan ended up having a ruptured appendix with an abscess, letting us know that his appendix had ruptured at least a couple of days before ending up there.

All the staff from the normal every day support staff, nursing, to the physicians were so supportive, helpful, and made the stay that at times felt so neverending that much easier. They checked in consistently, provided us whatever we needed and was so helpful and caring when it came to Dylan as well as us.

A situation that was so frustrating at times just because we wanted to go home and Dylan wanted to start school with his friends feel like a less helpless situation than normal.

Thank you staff all around, without you we could have not walked away feeling like we could conquer the world at home and back to school!
