This year, our class is jumping into Jogathon and it truly is a BIG deal around here.

If you’ve been part of Blackhawk for any amount of time, you know… this day is a tradition. A rite of passage. One of those core memories our students talk about for years.

And this year? It's even bigger.

Our students are running not just for fun (and yes, there are some seriously exciting prizes they’re working toward ?)… but for something that matters—--helping strengthen and sustain the school we all love and care deeply about.

Jogathon is one of the ways our community comes alongside BCS to invest in what makes this place so special—especially the people and relationships that shape our students every day.

It’s about more than a short-term need. It’s about protecting and building something that lasts—so future students can experience the same kind of care, discipleship, and education that your child is receiving now.

If your family has experienced that impact, you know how meaningful it is.

If you’re looking for simple ways to help your student reach their goal, here are a few ideas:

Share their page personally – A quick text to grandparents, friends, or neighbors goes a long way. Consider a video message from your kiddo!
Think beyond family – This is a BIG opportunity this year. Local businesses you already support (dentist, favorite restaurant, gym, etc.) love the visibility and the chance to show how they’re supporting their community...but the BIG KICKER is that their sponsorship can DOUBLE toward a student!  Truly—all it takes is a simple ask.  
Give in honor – Many families choose to give in honor of a teacher who has made a difference—that never goes unnoticed.

And of course…

Give – Any amount truly makes a difference.
Share – The more people who see it, the more momentum we build.

This day is special. What it supports is even more meaningful.
