WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Everyone is welcome - regardless of age, race, gender, or fitness level! This is a fun run/walk open to all. Participants can choose to walk, jog, or run the 5km course and be part of a vibrant sporting festival.
Children can register and run/jog/walk in the 1km run.
WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH MY REGISTRATION?
Your registration includes the 2025 edition participant packet including a T-shirt, a race bib, water bottle, branded bag, and other event materials. Finishers will be receiving the 2025 edition medal.
PACKET PICKUP
For pre-race packet pickup, you must have a photo I.D.
Pickup date and location: Thursday Oct 9 (from 11:00am to 7:00pm) and Friday Oct 10 (from 10:00am to 7:00pm). When you come to collect your race packet: Make sure that you have your photo I.D. with you; Do not forget to keep your tickets handy. Download them on your phone or print them out; Bring either downloaded or printed ticket to your chosen location for event packet pick-up.
Please note that to take part in the Grand African Run; the tradition is that everyone needs to put on the event’s official T-shirt and a bib number. There will be screening at the entrance and please make sure that you are wearing your official T-shirt and bib number.
