I'm Running the 2023 Berlin Marathon with Dougie's Team!
Hi everyone! My name is Eric and I'm excited to be running with the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism for the 2023 Berlin Marathon! I'm so excited - this is my 3rd year running with Dougie's Team, and my first time running the Berlin Marathon.
I run for the Foundation because it's a cause that is very very near to my heart. When I was three years old, I was diagnosed with developmental disabilities and ADHD. With the help of amazing special education teachers, and a never-quit attitude, I graduated from high school, got my driver’s license and led a productive independent life.
Running has been my life since high school. I have run in many 5K races and have competed in nine marathons and half marathons. This race will be my 10th total marathon.
Please help me in supporting this Foundation to help families and individuals affected by autism live life to the fullest!
