Hello friends!

Once again this year I am participating in this Junior Achievement’s Big Bowl – with BevSource to raise money for Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest.

Over the last 6 years I have been able to volunteer in several classrooms teaching 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders about financial responsibility, their roles in the community, and the real world.  I've also had the opportunity to participate in JA "Biz Town," where students run a city.  From electing a mayor, working in businesses, making payroll and taxes and much more.  It is a great experience for the kids to see how the real world works.

Junior Achievement (JA) empowers students to make a connection between what they learn in school and the "real world." Our programs enhance the relevance of classroom learning, help students understand the value of staying in school, and provide them with the skills they need to be successful adults.

I'm supporting JA's important work by participating in JA bigBowl.
