I've had the pleasure of mentoring with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region for several years. As a past educator, it brings me great joy to work with our youth and defend their potential by serving as a mentor, and now raising funds to afford other children the opportunity to participate.
I've seen the way that this program builds students up, and gives them confidence that is hard to find in the school building alone. Knowing how to navigate life, work, and responsibility is paramount to success down the road.
