Back to Where It All Began: Bowl for Kids’ Sake Turns 50

This year, we’re rolling it back—way back—as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Bowl for Kids’ Sake!

From the disco days of the 70s, to the neon glow of the 80s, to the grunge and pop of the 90s, this event has been bringing people together for decades to change kids’ lives. Now, we’re rebooting the fun and inviting you to be part of the legacy—whether you bowled with us years ago or you’re brand new to the party.

We’re going all in on nostalgia with a 70s, 80s, and 90s theme across three days and three locations.  

Era:

  • Lucky Strike (13307 San Pedro Ave, 78216) 
    August 27th | 6pm - 8pm | 70s Theme
  • Astro Superbowl (3203 Harry Wurzbach Rd, 78209) 
    August 28th | 6pm - 8pm | 80s Theme
  • Bandera Bowling Center (6700 Huebner Rd, 78238)
    August 29th | 12pm - 2pm | 90s Theme

Dust off your retro gear, grab your friends, and sign up as a Team Captain to lead a team of up to five bowlers. It’s easy to join, fun to fundraise, and every dollar helps create life-changing mentoring relationships for youth in our community.
 
Whether you’re here for the memories or ready to make new ones, this is your moment to roll with us again.

Each person that raises $100 or more will receive an exclusive event shirt at the event.

For every $10 you donate you will receive a pledge voucher.

Drawing will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 on Social Media. We will notify the winners.

Top Individual and Top Team will receive a prize!
