Remember how school Jog-a-thons work? Each class was a team raising funds as a group. And each student within that class was also trying to raise the most within that class. 

This is similar!

You can create a team if you like, or participate as an individual. 

Examples:

Want to do a birthday fundraiser? Sign up as an Individual! You can customize your goal and send your unique link to your friends and family to donate.

Does your workplace want to host a fundraiser? Have someone sign your work up as a Team! Your employees & coworkers can then choose to either sign up onto your team, OR they can just send the team link out to friends and family. Having employees actually register onto your team will allow them to track donations attributed to them if you have any kind of internal competition.

I want to fundraise as an individual (i.e. birthday, special event, etc):

Click “Register Now” > “As an Individual” 

Set your goal, fill in your personal information, and click “Next”.

From there, follow the guide instructions for each step to customize your page, and then send it out to your friends and family!

I want to create a team OR join a team that already exists:

Click “Register Now” > “Join or Start a Team”

If you are creating a new team, click “Start A New Team” at the bottom right of the pop up.

Make a team name and set your fundraising goal. (Make sure your team name is something your friends will be able to find.) By creating a team you are automatically designated as the team captain - congratulations!

Click “Save My Team”, fill in your personal information, and click “Next”.

From there, follow the guide instructions for each step to customize your page, and then send it out to your friends and family!
