Ian has been a proud part of Brookwood in Georgetown (BiG) since 2019. It is a wonderful work program for adults with disabilities that has made such a positive difference in his life. Through BiG, Ian earns a wage while making dog treats, bar soaps, and liquid soaps, and he has made wonderful friends along the way. The amazing staff see potential, not obstacles, and have helped Ian grow in ways we never imagined possible. During breaks, Ian enjoys singing almost any genre of music, coloring, and helping clean up—he truly loves being part of this community. We cannot imagine Ian’s life without BiG and the opportunities, friendships, and sense of purpose it provides.
