My Personal Fundraising Page

I met the people who started Bikes Not Bombs when I first moved to Mission Hill in the mid-1980s, and they were operating out of the unfinished (and unheated) first floor of a three-decker around the corner from my apartment. as well as from the basement of Ferris Wheels Bike Shop in Jamaica Plain.

I have been a supporter ever since.

For 35 years, the Bike-a-thon has been a major fundraising event for BNB, and whenever I could I have ridden in it. I have quite the assortment of BNB T-shirts, a different one for every year I've ridden.

It's always a great experience (although sometimes challenging, and tiring!) because I am riding with dozens and dozens of other people who also support the goals and work of Bikes Not Bombs.
