I've been participating in Bikes Not Bombs' annual fundraiser, the Bike-A-Thon, in some capacity (either as a rider or a volunteer) since 2011, and I'm excited to be riding again this year!
BNB is a community-based nonprofit in JP that uses the bicycle as a vehicle for social change. They have programs for Boston-area youth and adults, and they ship donated bikes to their international partners who use the bikes to drive social change in their communities. They also have a full-service bike shop, and sell new and used bikes.
