Thank you from all of us at Bikes Not Bombs for supporting our 39th annual Bike-A-Thon! We are so grateful for each and every rider, volunteer, youth apprentice, staff member, supporter, and community member who helped make the day such a successful event. Whether it was your first or 20th time at the “BAT”, we had a fabulous time spending the day with you. Because of your efforts, we were able to raise over $145,000 - and with even more donations still coming in!
We had 248 registered riders and 26 teams riding for change!

102 people tackled the 50 mile ride out to the Food Project’s Baker Bridge Farm;
-
99 people rode 25 miles on rolling hills in the Arboretum and along the Charles River;
-
47 people joined our classic Emerald Necklace 10 mile route, taking in some of the area’s best urban parks and biking paths.
101 volunteers supported all aspects of the event:

Cleaning and organizing rest stop supplies to keep our riders fed and hydrated;

Staffed rest stops in Franklin Park, Wellesley, and Lincoln;
-
Supported riders with flat fixes, roadside assistance, and even some roadside yoga while fixing a flat on the 25 mile route;
-
Kept food and drinks replenished on the Field;
-
Carried, loaded, and unloaded dozens of boxes of supplies, tables, and chairs;

And much, much more!
