Bikes Not Bombs is excited to launch our 40th Annual Bike-A-Thon, scheduled for Sunday June 6th, 2027!
This is our 40th Annual Bike-A-Thon and it's sure to be a big one! We've got three beautiful routes, dedicated riders and volunteers, and an after-party filled with music, prizes, and good food; all powered by the larger BNB Community.
Get ready to ride! We've got something for everybody:
- Our family and beginner friendly 8 mile route, highlighting Boston's Emerald Necklace
- Our 25 mile route out to Weston & back, tracing the Charles river through Needham to the riverside Rest Stop at Wellesley Lower Falls before riding back through Newton & Brookline.
- Our 50 mile route showcasing the rolling hills of Weston, Lincoln, and Sudbury with two supported (and scenic!) rest stops.
Family-Friendly
We've updated our registration fees and fundraising minimum to make our event more accessible to families - riders under 18 have no fundraising minimum, though we of course welcome all of the fundraisers we can get!
You can also expect to see more activities for younger riders, like a traffic garden and learn to ride workshop, a balance-bike "race", and decorations for kids (and adults!) to decorate their bikes before the rides.
Community Powered
We couldn't put on this event without the support of our community, so we ask that you join us in the afternoon to celebrate with us! We'll have live music, food trucks, activites, local artists, and non-profits for you to connect with.
Volunteer opportunities will be live soon! Make sure you sign up for our E-News to be the first to know.
Stay in the loop!
