On Sunday, June 9, 2019, I will once again participate in the Bikes Not Bombs Bike-A-Thon, a bike ride for social change. This annual charity ride is BNB's largest community gathering and fundraiser of the year, with over 700 riders and volunteers, all on a mission to promote environmental sustainability and social justice. All fundraising goes directly to making Bikes Not Bombs' programs possible!

Bikes Not Bombs uses the bicycle as a vehicle for social change. They reclaim thousands of bikes each year. They reuse them in their youth programs and bike shop in Boston. And they ship them to economic development projects through their partners in Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
