You know the saying, "It's like riding a bike"? Well, I forgot how to ride a bike... not just once but THREE times. I'm proud to say that it's finally stuck. Over the past few years, I've been working to overcome my fear of urban biking (and intersections in particular) and explored some beautiful bike paths in the Boston area. 

When I set out to purchase my first adult bike this spring, I decided to check out a Jamaica Plain non-profit called Bikes Not Bombs. Not only did I find an amazing new bike, I also learned about their incredible programming and commitment to social change. I am excited to participate in their Bike-a-Thon this fall in the 30-mile loop and to fundraise amongst the other riders, with a goal of $175,000. I am hoping to raise $500 in the next month, and every dollar counts! I am grateful for all of your support.
