I’m participating in this year’s Bike-A-Thon 2021 to raise money for Bikes Not Bombs, an organization that has been using the bicycle as a vehicle for social change for 37 years! With the help of the thousands of bicycles they reclaim each year, Bikes Not Bombs provides skill development, jobs, and sustainable transportation to underserved youth and adults in Boston and across the Global South. The need for this work has only increased this past year, and since Bikes Not Bombs' mission is so important to me, I’m working hard to support them. When I thought about people who would be willing to help me raise money, I thought of you. Would you be willing to donate to my ride? I'm planning to ride the 50-mile route on Sep. 12 with my team, LexRide. Hopefully, I'll survive.
