Sarah's Bike-a-Thon for Social Change Fundraising Page

Some of you know that I've gotten very interested in road cycling in the last two years, but what you may not know is that Bikes Not Bombs was instrumental in helping me learn the bike basics. I've been to many, many bikes shops and it was one of the few where I felt like they were willing to take the time to explain things to me in ways I could understand and tell me (honestly!) what my options were when it came to buying a bike. In addition to my personal appreciation for them, they do some amazing work in the community and internationally. To name a few of the things they do: they provide bikes to essential workers during the pandemic as a safe and sustainable way to get to work, they train and empower youth to become bike mechanics, they recondition bikes and send them to economic mobility projects in the Global South, and the list goes on. It would mean so much to me if you would help me support them this year!
