Birdathon helps NVBA to support citizen science and save bird habitats. NVBA brings the pleasures of birding to residents all over Northern Virginia, and Birdathon collects data to help ornithologists better understand spring migration.

The Birding Friends of Little Hunting Creek celebrate the many wetland species of birds that migrate or live along Little Hunting Creek.  We work to restore and preserve their habitats.

Here's how you can help:

• Donate: Contribute whatever you can to Northern Virginia Bird Alliance. Every dollar helps!
• Join the Birding Friends of Little Hunting Creek on May 11!  Whether you're experienced or a novice, we'd be glad to have you join our team. On May 11 (rain date May 14) we'll be counting birds at a beautiful birding  hotspot and private preserve on the creek. We'll be birding off and on all day.  Sign up, contact betsy@folhc.org for location.
