Please come join our Birdathon and/or support us! We will be in Alexandria's Monticello Park all day May 14  (6:30 am to 6:30 pm). (Our rain date is May 19.) We welcome all birders, including beginners, to help us document the spectacular bird diversity in this gem of a park. Last year we found 65 species, including 18 warbler species - in this tiny 7-acre park - in just one day. Let's try to do exceed that total!

We welcome donations per bird species we find  - or if you just want to support us for the entire event.

The funds will be used to help NVBA's bird conservation and education efforts - with Monticello Park being a major recipient.
