Our team has participated in Birdathon for five years. Libby Lyons is the NVBA President, Tom is the immediate Past President, and Dixie was the NVBA Treasurer for many years. We've won the prize for the most money raised three years in a row, and we're relying on you to help us reach that goal. Please donate an amount per bird found or a lump sum. We've found nearly 100 birds for each of the last three years, and we're once again hoping to reach the 100-bird mark this year.

Birdathon helps NVBA to support outdoor education, citizen science, habitat conservation and programs to encourage people to plant native plants and protect native wildlife. Birdathon also helps ornithologists better understand spring migration by reporting sightings through eBird, an online database of bird observations run by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
