When Aiden was diagnosed with a brain tumor at 6 months old, our lives changed forever. Because his tumor cannot be entirely removed by surgery, our reality became an ongoing, nationwide medical marathon across Nebraska, Tennessee, and Chicago. Thankfully, Aiden is currently on a medication that successfully keeps the aggressive growth of the tumor under control.  We know we still have an incredibly long road ahead of us, but our family chooses to face every single day with absolute positivity. Aiden is a real fighter who never gives up, and his unmatched bravery has taught us the true definition of strength.

Aiden is a living miracle who is just as smart and friendly as he is brave. He is incredibly funny and loves to be silly, lighting up even the darkest hospital corridors with his infectious laughter. While we cannot change the diagnosis he was born with, the love surrounding him is stronger than any tumor, and Angels Among Us makes sure that love has the space to thrive.

For about two years, Angels Among Us served as a critical anchor for our family by stepping in to assist with our rent, giving us vital stability while we navigated Aiden's complex medical needs. They deeply understand that pediatric illness impacts the entire household, beautifully hosting special events designed to bring pure joy to the kids, parents, and siblings alike. They are truly Angels among these angels because of the way they protect, lift up, and support the brave children fighting these tough battles. Navigating a long-term medical journey naturally brings ongoing daily challenges, but our trust in their beautiful mission remains completely unwavering. They transformed an incredibly heavy, isolated medical marathon into a path walked with a village of true compassion behind us.
