Mykah is:

Our family has had to make many choices. All the choices were hyper focused for our son’s recovery. It has changed all of us. We have become closer in a world where families become distant. We are blessed with his recovery and repair of our family unit.

ALL (Leukemia) has opened a world to us that we only knew from a distance. Event though his diagnosis was tragic there are so many things that came of this tragedy. We are more educated, more passionate, more aware of what families are going through. IT has brough our family closer together. We are better now then we ever have been. For the future we will never take life for granted and understand the importance of giving back. AAU has shown us a community of likeminded survivors, a way for awareness, and a way to give back when our journey levels off to normal again.
