We adopted Frankie through Providence Animal Center’s North Carolina transport program. Once arrived, he was treated for and survived parvo in their care. After bringing him home, I started volunteering  and Frankie even trained there, making our connection to the shelter come full circle.

Seven years later, Frankie is still our shadow and very much the heart of our family. He’s protective, stubborn, and not exactly interested in being everyone’s friend. But he loves his people fiercely. And honestly, there’s something to be said for knowing who matters to you, showing up for them, and not getting too hung up on everyone else’s opinion.

That’s the Frankie Factor.

This is our fifth Bark in the Park so we're hoping to raise $5,000 for the shelter that gave Frankie his second chance, and continues to give so many other animals theirs.

For Frankie, for second chances, and for showing up with purpose.
