Welcome to my personal fundraising page! I am privileged and humbled to serve another year as a member of the Beacon of Life's Board of Directors. The Beacon's mission, to assist women out of incarceration, is a cause that I hold near and dear to my heart.

Over the past year, we have seen a flurry of activity for the Beacon of Life. The Beacon's retail consignment shop, the Beacon Boutique, has thrived under new management. This has helped raise funds for the Beacon and has also provided our residents with a wardrobe and essentials to transition into the workplace. 

Unfortunately, the Beacon has also experienced some devastating lows stemming from Covid-19. These lows cannot be understated. The Beacon has had to expend considerable resources on unanticipated costs, such as cleaning supplies, and has had a loss of resident income due to residents losing their employment and loss of income due to temporarily closing the Boutique's doors. With the plummeting economy, the Beacon has also struggled to obtain contributions from business and individuals. Most devastating, with no vaccine in sight, the Beacon had to make the difficult decision to cancel our live Spring fundraising event, and we will be lucky if we are able to hold the Fall live fundraising event. This translates into thousands of dollars lost for the Beacon. We are now reliant, more than ever, on individual contributions. My goal this year is to raise $1,000. This is in addition to my own personal financial commitment and time commitment to the Beacon. If you find it in your heart to join me in this cause, I would be forever grateful.
