Let's run it back!
I had such an amazing experience in 2024 running the Boston Marathon in support of the Doug Flutie Foundation for Autism and there was no way I wasn't going to do it again.
Not after having received such amazing support from friends, family and co-workers in the form of encouragement and donations.
Not after having met such great people on Dougie's Team and the Flutie Foundation.
Not after having come oh so close to beating my time goal of sub 4 hours! (Finished 4:01!)
I am really looking forward to this second cycle. Training is already in full swing - I did a second marathon in late October and a half marathon in early November.
Felix has been doing really well of late and a big part of his success is all of the different supports he gets on a regular basis, something that can be a pretty significant burden. Tara and I are fortunate to be able to give him the support he needs so he can thrive, but many others who are impacted by autism are not.
Among the many great things that the Doug Flutie Foundation for Autism does is provide support to families impacted by autism, and the needs in the community far outweigh the level of fundraising that this great organization does each year.
Which is to say - we need your help! Any amount you can donate would be greatly appreciated! Last year my network came together to raise over $50,000 - an astronomical and amazing sum of money in support of this great cause.
I am so deeply thankful for everyone's contributions and hope to see as many repeat donors as possible!
