Here's an opportunity to donate to a good cause: the Boston Cyclists Union advocates for safer and calmer streets that are navigable and livable on a human scale. They work with the city and state to complete networks of safe routes, reducing the barriers to cycling and other forms of active and sustainable transportation.

For the 2nd year running I'm riding my bike 400 miles from Boston to Montreal with "Bos/treal" to fundraise for the BCU and to raise awareness about safer streets and infrastructure.

If you would be interested in sponsoring me -- and literally any amount is equally great -- I'd be honored to carry an item of your choice with me on the ride, so long as it isn't terribly heavy or overly embarrassing. :-)
