In May, I’ll be biking 400 miles from Boston to Montreal to help raise money for the Boston Cyclist Union!

Why does BCU need your support? Boston Cyclist Union is a 501(c)3 that advocates for better, safer, and more equitable bike infrastructure in and around Boston. If you’ve ever dreamed of less cars during rush hour, calmer streets to walk on, or more people-centered public spaces, BCU is organizing to make those dreams a reality.

I’m supporting BCU because they are trying to make Boston streets more accommodating for people-powered movement, which benefits everyone. More bikes on the road equals less cars, which mean:

• lower air pollution
• faster and more reliable public transit
• safer and healthier neighborhoods for residents of all mobility levels
• reduced climate change impact
