Bos/treal (Boss-tree-all) is a weeklong bike tour and fundraiser that benefits the Boston Cyclists Union’s (BCU) work to improve biking for everyone in Boston. In 2026, participants will ride nearly 400 miles over five days (ranging from 55 - 100 miles/day) to Montreal, Quebec.
Bos/treal is a gateway to biking longer distances, a leadership pipeline for bike advocacy, and a major source of support for the BCU’s work to make biking better in Boston. Most importantly: It’s an amazing bike adventure!

The impact of the Bostreal trip cannot be understated. Cycling infrastructure is a cornerstone of achieving equity, safety, and sustainability by means of transforming accessibility throughout the city of Boston. Your donation will help the BCUs mission of creating a better system for cyclists in our beloved city.
Safety for bikers in Boston streets will also promote more commuters and city ventures by bike! This drives down the impact of carbon emissions with additional traffic calming benefits and safety for other pedestrians.
