I am super excited to ride from Boston to Montreal and the challenge of riding 400 miles to support bike safety and better infrastructure -

it's unlike any other challenge I have attempted and it combines my love of cycling and supporting safer infrastructure with a huge adventure. I have been training with the riders and was on the waitlist for the past few months until just last week I was selected in the lottery to be a rider. I am learning how to bike long distances and meeting many new people. Every weekend has been a new challenge for me. 

I have been a volunteer with Cambridge Bicycle Safety for several years now and realize that we need safer streets when we cross the river to Boston to go to jobs, movies, restaurants, and to visit friends across the river.

My hope is that by raising funds for Boston cyclist Union pedestrians, bus riders, cyclists and drivers will ride safely to and from Cambridge and Boston without fear. 

Boston Cyclists Union is a 501 c3 non-profit whose mission is to transform the streets of greater Boston into equitable and inviting people-centered spaces affording access and connection for every body. We accomplish this through organizing, advocacy, public actions, and holding city and state agencies accountable to build out the network of safe, protected bike infrastructure.,so your donation is tax-deductible, supports street safety, and will make my day too!
