This will be my third-year biking “Bostréal” with the Boston Cyclists Union…and this year, we’re going all the way to Montreál!!

Anyone who knows me knows that I am passionate about biking and about bike activism and it is a joy to be able to once again raise money for the BCU. I commute to work daily on my bike, and it is my primary form of transportation in my day-to-day life. The ability to safely get around on my bike has given me a sense of independence and confidence that I want others to share as well. In addition to being a huge part of a sustainable future, robust bike infrastructure provides the potential for safe and equitable transportation of individuals in areas underserved by public transportation.

By donating to this campaign, you are helping the Boston Cyclists Union advocate for safer streets for cyclists, hire more staff to increase their capacity, and provide additional resources for new riders. I am incredibly proud of the work that the BCU has already done in the city, and as someone that has been consistently cycling in different parts of the city for the past eight years, I can see their efforts at work. I believe that everyone deserves to enjoy their city, and be able to move around it in a safe and healthy way - better bike lanes and safer pedestrian infrastructure are a way to achieve this.
