Biking was always recreational for me as a child. My sister, Priya, and I would bike around our apartment complex or the St. Cloud lakefront. When I moved to Chicago, I learned people use bikes not just recreationally but for everyday commuting. It was a completely new culture! 

After moving to Boston, I met Aseem and learned of his passion for cycling. When we first started talking in 2021 he was participating in a fundraising ride, Bos/treal, with the Boston Cyclists Union (BCU), an organization that promotes the availability of safe streets and advocates for improved bicycling infrastructure for people from all backgrounds, all over Boston. 

Fast forward two years, Aseem and I are married and now I’m participating in Bos/treal! I’ll be biking from Boston to Montreal to raise $1,900 - proceeds of which will go towards making Boston a better biking city for people of all abilities and capabilities.

For donations of $100 or more, I will match 20% towards a cause or organization of your choice.
