I am supporting Junior Achievement's efforts to educate students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. Please help by making a donation below!

I support Junior Achievement because they are equipping young people with important skills and knowledge that prepare them for life and career.

As a millennial, I am a part of a generation that struggles with personal finance. We are strapped with debt, less likely to seek professional advice, and nearly 30% of us are overdrawing on our checking accounts. Research by pwc documents that the gap between the amount of financial responsibility given to young Americans and their demonstrated ability to manage financial decisions is rapidly widening. Junior Achievement programs are working to provide important lessons that can help prevent financial hardship and promote wellbeing.

Managing money, preparing for work and career, and learning to be innovate and start businesses are all taught in JA’s comprehensive K-12 curriculum. I have had the pleasure of seeing students light up when imagining their future possibilities through JA programs. As a program volunteer in a 2nd grade class at a local public school, I have seen how 7-year olds can be amazingly creative and considerate entrepreneurs. It has been so inspiring to see our programs in action and the true impact of the educational experiences Junior Achievement offers. Supporting JA programs means supporting young people toward achieving the dreams they set for themselves and our community.

I want to see JA reach more students and I need your help! Please consider making a donation today.
