Thank you for considering a donation! The bike community in the Boston area is a huge part of my life. Whether I'm volunteering or working on my bike at the Somerville Bike Kitchen, riding with Bikes not Bombs in JP, helping get voters informed with Cambridge Bike Safety, or just riding the many trails either alone or with friends, what started as just a way to get around became a source of many friends and adventures. The bike community has given me so much so I always try to give back when I can. That is why I'm raising funds for the Boston Cyclists Union, an organization I've been involved with for some time now and is always fighting for a cause incredibly important to me. Better bike infrastructure and policy doesn't just make it more comfortable for bikers to ride, it opens the door to people who want another way to get around, it makes the city more accessible, and it gets fewer cars on the road which in and of itself has innumerable benefits. That is why I believe the BCU is such a great organization to support and I hopeĀ it's one you think worth contributing to.
