Ballroom Dance Performance Cost Fundraising

Donate / Crowdfund

As it is in the theatre world everywhere, ticket sales alone do not cover all the various expenses associated with putting on a show. In an effort to offset our costs, we traditionally have requested a “performance fee donation” from each family involved in the show.

For some, this can be a challenge. In response to this, OCSA has implemented a crowdfunding platform that allows each student/parent to reach out to friends and family to help raise these funds.

Cash donations to the school are tax deductible per OCSA's IRS designation as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

We are currently fundraising to help offset production costs for the following show:

Dancing with the OCSA Stars 5
April 19th-20th

This donation is to help offset the costs associated with the overall production. The funds collected help cover rental fees, the lighting designer, costume, costume personal, costume cleaning and alterations, publicity, posters, flyers, designers, production managers, music, after school rehearsals with teachers and choreographers, etc.

We are requesting a contribution of $150 per student for our spring showcase be submitted in March or early April.
