I was diagnosed with breast cancer at my very first mammogram appointment at age 40. Because of my age, I decided to get a double masectomy and reconstruction done. I am very lucky that it was caught early so I didn't need chemo or radiation treatment that so many people have to endure. I'm 10 years out and doing fantastic. I'm thankful everyday that I made my appointment and went to get my mammogram done when it was recommended. If you have been putting off that appointment, please call and do it!
