When I first moved to New York City, I spent my days teaching second grade in Harlem. Every day, I saw firsthand how much a supportive community can shape a child's confidence, opportunities, and future. That experience has stayed with me long after I left the classroom.
Years later, after finding my own community through Bronx Burners, I knew I wanted to give back in a meaningful way. Running has taken me around the world through the marathon majors, but some of the most meaningful miles have been the ones shared with people who believe in lifting others up.
By running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon for Bronx Burners, I'm helping support programs that introduce young people to running, mentorship, and the confidence that comes from being part of something bigger than themselves.
Every donation helps create more opportunities for the next generation to discover what community, movement, and possibility can do. Thank you for helping me turn every mile into something that reaches far beyond the finish line.
