I'm proud to announce that I will be running the NYC Marathon this fall for the Bronx Burners - a 100% volunteer-run organization where every dollar goes directly to college scholarships for students in the Bronx. I got involved because the mission matched something I've carried for a long time - the belief that a young person with the right support at the right moment can change the entire direction of their life. I've seen it happen. I want to help make it happen more.

As a former athlete, I know what sport does during the years that shape you. The Bronx Burners combine athletics, mentorship, and academic support for young people who need it most - and they do it entirely through volunteers.

Running the NYC Marathon is a dream I've carried for a long time. It's also terrifying. But the scariest goals are usually the ones most worth chasing - and doing it in service of something bigger makes every hard mile mean something.

When I cross that finish line, I want you to know you were part of it - and so did the kids whose futures your donation helped shape.
