I’m honored to be running the New York City Marathon in support of the Bronx Burners Running Club (BBRC).

Bronx Burners is a 100% volunteer-run organization using running and community to create opportunity for young people in the Bronx. Their work extends far beyond the miles: they provide running programs and mentorship, SAT support, internships, college savings support, and scholarships for students in the Bronx Burners community.

What I love most about their mission is the belief that sports can be a starting point for something much bigger — opportunity, purpose, community, and belonging.

This marathon campaign directly supports scholarships for Bronx Burners students. Every dollar raised goes directly to a student’s scholarship.
