I'm raising money for the Bronx Burners!
I’m thrilled to be participating in Bronx Burners 2026 NYC Marathon Team, a fundraiser supporting the Bronx Burners Run Club!
Why I'm running for the Bronx Burners
The Bronx Burners Run Club is a youth organization that uses running as a way into something much bigger. Alongside their free weekly community runs, they deliver year-round youth programming, one-on-one mentorship, college counselling and SAT prep, and scholarships for Bronx student-athletes. In 2025, they raised $260k and awarded nearly $100k in youth scholarships. There's also something that hits close to home for me: through NYRR's 9+1 program, the Burners help their own members earn a place on the very start line I'll be standing on. The club that puts Bronx runners into this marathon is exactly the one I want to give back to.
Every dollar goes toward mentorship, scholarships and programs that expand what's possible for young people in the Bronx!
