I’m so excited to be running the 2025 NYC Marathon with the Bronx Burners — a small but challenging detour of 26.2 miles through 5 boroughs from Staten Island to Central Park! 

Who are the Bronx Burners? The Bronx Burners aims to make sport accessible to all young kids in the Bronx community, creating a clear easy roadmap to get started. They sponsor athletic scholarships, organize weekly track meets, host local sport events, and partner with Bronx schools with after-school programming.

Why am I running for the Bronx Burners? Last March, I started running away from my job in finance. What began as walks to clear my head on the West Side Highway turned into a joy for running and four half marathons. I am now thrilled to be running my first full marathon with the Bronx Burners — a vibrant community of young kinds that encourages and celebrates opportunity through running. 

How can you help?  Every dollar raised goes directly towards the Bronx Burners Scholarship fund. Any donation — no matter how small — would be greatly appreciated. Your support will be going towards an amazing mission and will keep me going all the way to the finish line.
