Our first grandchild was due November 6, 2015, but on July 14 we got a frantic phone call that there were serious concerns and the baby would be delivered immediately.  Marshall Edward was delivered at 23 weeks 4 days, weighing only 1 lb 7 oz..  In the emotion of that night and the ensuing months, we found ourselves extremely grateful for the excellent care of our tiny Marshall.  Children's was truly the best place for him to be.  Not only were the doctors and nurses caring for Marshall, but I found comfort in that they were also caring for Jeff and Misty.  I will be forever grateful for the knowledge, expertise, dedication, and compassion of the doctors, nurses, and staff at Children's Minneapolis  We are now blessed to have daily smiles and giggles from our precious  Marshal!
