Children's Hospital NICU has a very special place in our hearts. I was pregnant with Jacob last summer, we experienced some complications and with that my water broke at about 21 weeks. Jacob was born a couple weeks later at 23.6 weeks gestation and weighing only 1lb11oz. Despite the odds being stacked against him, he has fought his way through everything. He is almost a 100% healthy boy, just requires a little oxygen to help him. It's all thanks to the amazing staff at Minneapolis Children's hospital, and Jacob's strong will.
