Izzy was born at 25 weeks and 1 day gestation. She spent four and a half months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Infant Care Center. We are so thankful to Children's for the excellent care she received, and we're happy and proud to be able to pay it forward.

Your donation to the Baby Steps Walk goes to fund non-medical essentials - snacks for pumping moms so they don't have to leave the unit to wait in line in the cafeteria, baby books delivered to the bedside so babies can hear the voices of their loved ones as they read aloud, scrapbooking supplies to commemorate milestones no baby book ever lists, and gatherings where families can meet others who are going through similar struggles. We benefited greatly from these programs, and would like to help sustain them for future families whose beginnings don't look quite the way they imagined.
