Please support this team to celebrate George Young and the hospital that saved his life. WIthin 12 hours of birth, George started suffering seizures and was ultimately diagnosed with having suffered a moderate stroke. Those first MRI images of the bleed in his brain will forever be in our thoughts and memories. He spent 2 weeks in the NICU being closely monitored and getting the seizures under control before being sent home with an unsure future given the brain injury he had suffered.

Today George is absolutely thriving. He has no deficits and is a very normal toddler. He's even been completely released from visiting a neurologist. We owe so much of this little boy's life to the quick, fantastic care he received from Children's in helping prevent long-term damage. We've formed this team to say thank you and in celebration of George's life and the exciting adventures to come.
