Team Keane Preemies!

Our Preemie Story

Leo and Max had the best care possible when they were delivered at Abbott's Mother Baby Center and were immediately in the care of Children's Neonatal Doctors. Leo, who just turned 3, was born at 28 weeks weighing just 1 lb. 14 oz. after being born early due to mom having HELLP syndrome. He spent 92 days in the NICU/ICC. Now days he enjoys car washes, preschool, and learning how to become more independent.18 months later due to mom having preeclampsia, Max, 1, was born at 32 weeks weighing 3 lbs. 14 oz. and spent 32 days in the Special Care Nursery. He loves learning new words, communicating with others, and copying just about anything his brother allows him to.  These superheroes remind us daily of how precious little miracles are. We will never be able to thank Children's enough, and Leo missed it so much he spent 6 days there this winter due to complications from RSV. Our way of thanking them is by donating and supporting them in any way we can so that they can continue to provide excellent care to the littlest miracles of the world.
