Friends and family,
As some of you know, I had a very difficult pregnancy and delivery with Ethan; ultimately, he was delivered by emergency Cesarean-section 5 weeks early. Ethan spent the first week of his life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Children’s Hospital St. Paul. We were very lucky that Ethan was healthy and “only” needed to be in the NICU for one week. Because of our experience, and the important and necessary care that Ethan received, this is why the Baby Steps 3K is so very important to our family and why I’m asking for your support.
Saturday, June 4th holds the sixth annual Baby Steps 3K and NICU reunion at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds Grandstand. Children's of Minnesota has the largest neonatal program in the region and was recognized as one of the top neonatal programs in the country by U.S. News & World Report's. Click here to find out what makes this program so special. The main reason we are supporting this event is to continue our personal mission to help children in need.
