My Personal Story

For as far back as I can remember, there has always been an emphasis on the importance of a solid education in my family. Throughout my middle school and high school, I joined many STEM organizations which gave me not only the benefit of learning new scientific concepts, but also the privilege of getting of hands-on experience that allowed our ideas to come to life. Additionally, I met many experienced professionals along the way that gave me great perspective on how things work outside of traditional academics. These types of events laid the foundation for my pursuit of a career in engineering.

As the beneficiary of such practical experience, I feel it is only right to help support others towards having a similar experience. And because of that, I’m working to raise funds for Junior Achievement (JA) this year. JA provides an opportunity for kindergarten-12th grade students to engage in subjects like entrepreneurship, financial literacy skills, and global economics through experimental learning. Students partake in hands-on, interactive activities that prepare them for college and future career paths!
