Elvis was rescued from a hoarder's home in Tennessee. He was one of 30 dogs that were saved from poor living conditions where he had to fight to survive (and has the scars to prove it).
One afternoon, I saw his picture online and knew that I had to meet him. An impulsive decision later and he was in the back seat of my car driving home with me. He truly is a hound dog at heart so we kept his name as Elvis.
Elvis came into my life at a time I needed him most. His sweet demeanor and cuddly personality make it hard not to fall in love. He has quite a happy life now and enjoys hiking, camping, digging in the trash, and bully sticks. It's hard to believe that a loving dog like Elvis came from such a sad past.
But Elvis was one of the lucky ones. I want to help other dogs like him find their happily ever after like we did!
